Thomas DiBella (November 29, 1905 - June 6, 1988) was an American mobster and the onetime acting boss of the Colombo crime family. He later stepped down and became consigliere.[1][2]

Early life[]

Gaetano Salvatore DiBella was born on November 29, 1905, in Brooklyn, New York to Salvatore and Frances DiBella (née Lucchese). Throughout his childhood, DiBella resided with his family in an apartment on Harrison Avenue in the neighborhood of Williamsburg.
