Thompson Glacier ( WikiMiniAtlas66°45′S 123°39′E / 66.750°S 123.650°E / -66.750; 123.650Coordinates: 66°45′S 123°39′E / 66.750°S 123.650°E / -66.750; 123.650) is a channel glacier draining northward to the head of Paulding Bay. Delineated by (1955) from aerial photographs taken by Operation Highjump (1946–47). Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after , Midshipman on the sloop Wilkes.
