Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 is a sports video game developed by EA Redwood Shores for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions and Headgate Studios for the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS versions and published by EA Sports for Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS.

Features[]

Among the features in the game is the Tiger Challenge, in which the player is matched against real or fantasy golfers one at a time. There is also a scenario mode with 50 scenarios, challenging the players' skills in a variety of realistic settings. The game also includes a tournament mode that simulates a season on the PGA Tour and a Speed Golf mode that is time based instead of stroke based.

Game Modes (GameCube Version)[]

The GameCube version features the following game modes to play, along with a Play Now option on the main menu. [1]

Tiger Challenge - Compete in match play, scenario and tournament challenges against the top amateurs and pros. Win big money, unlock golfers, earn tour cards and reveal holes of Tiger's Dream 18 as you move up the ladder.

Scenarios - Get dropped into a tight spot and see how you handle the pressure. Compete for medals and earn cash in 50 different scenarios.

Stroke Play - Stroke Play is a basic round of golf for up to four players. Golfers play 18 holes for a total score and the player with the lowest score at the end of the round is the winner. Compete against unlocked CPU opponents for cash.

Match Play - Match Play is a 2-player game where each hole is its own contest. The player who wins the most holes during the round wins the match.

Skins - Skins is a 2 to 4 player game where golfers trade strokes for cash. Each hole has a monetary value that is awarded to the player with the lowest score on the hole. If 2 players tie for the low score on the hole, the "skin" is carried to the next hole.

Tournaments - One to four players can compete against a field of golf's greatest pros in a variety of Tournaments. If you're looking for a tougher challenge, try playing a tournament under "TOUR" conditions. In the Options, change "SETUP" to "TOUR Play".

Online Events - Play under tournament conditions and report your final score on the World Wide Web to see how you stack up against the world's greatest. The on-line events are no longer active. A registration link shown in the game directs to www.tw2003.ea.com

Practice - Drop some practice balls on any hole to fine tune your skills. Practice all aspects of your game without worrying about your scorecard.

Speed Golf - Leave your etiquette in the clubhouse as you compete head-to-head for cash while racing through the course. Play too slow and be left in the dust. This is NOT your Daddy's golf game!

Skillzone - Compete in a variety of single player or head-to-head mini games including 'T.I.G.E.R.' and 'Capture The Flag.' Unlock new Zones and earn money as you play.

My Course - Players can make their own courses by picking from a list of available holes from the courses in the game. Each profile can save up to three courses that can be played in some of the game modes.
