Ubocze [uˈbɔt͡ʂɛ] (German: Schosdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gryfów Śląski, within Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Gryfów Śląski, 14 kilometres (9 mi) south-west of Lwówek Śląski, and 114 kilometres (71 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The village has a population of 1,500.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration. The native German population was expelled and replaced with Poles.
Home of the Ubocze Sea Urchins, the local baseball team.
