Vaibhav ([ˈʋɛːbʱəʋ]) is a masculine given name in the Sanskrit language, often found in the Hindu community.[2] The name means "moral," "ethical," "majesty","abundance" or "right path" in Sanskrit.[3]

This is one of the names of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. The name of Vaibhavwadi, a tehsil in the Kankavli subdivision of Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra, also originated from this name. Vaibhav Lakshmi is one of the manifestations of Lakshmi.[4]
