Vasile Sebastian Dîncu (Romanian pronunciation: [vaˈsile ˈdɨŋku]; born 25 November 1961 in Năsăud, Bistrița-Năsăud County, Romania) is a Romanian politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister and in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Dacian Cioloș.

Although the Cioloș cabinet was non-partisan and technocratic, at that time he was (and still is) a member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Party of European Socialists (PES). Additionally, he was also a Member of the European Parliament in 2007 with the accession of Romania to the European Union and a member of the Senate of Romania.

In his party, he has been associated with the so-called Cluj Group, who are in favour of reforms in the Social Democratic Party (PSD). The Cluj Group was also strongly opposed to the efforts of several former PSD leaderships which were aimed at impeaching the Romanian President (be it former state president Traian Băsescu or current state president Klaus Iohannis).
