  1. ^ Venezuela was later disqualified after one of their players, Armando Becker, was found guilty of using doping in the match against Uruguay on August 13, 1991. Venezuela therefore was set back from the sixth to the tenth and last spot in the final ranking of the men's basketball tournament.
