Vichina Cove
Vichina Cove (Bulgarian: залив Вичина, romanized: zaliv Vichina, IPA: [ˈzaliv ˈvit͡ʃinɐ]) is the 3 km wide cove indenting for 1 km the southeast coast of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is entered east of Slavotin Point and west of . The area was visited by early 19th century sealers.[1]
The feature is named after the fortified city of Vichina in medieval Northeastern Bulgaria, and in association with other Bulgarian historical names in the area.
