Vitaliy Roman (Ukrainian: Віталій Васильович Роман; born 15 April 2003) is a professional Ukrainian football defender who plays for Rukh Lviv.

Career[]

Born in Novyi Rozdil, Roman is a product of the local youth sportive school and the UFK-Karpaty Lviv youth sportive school system. His first trainer was Viktor Pavroznyk.[1]

He played for FC Karpaty in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves and later was promoted to the senior squad team, when Karpaty was relegated into the Ukrainian Second League. Roman made his debut for FC Karpaty as the second half-time substituted player in the winning home match against FC Chernihiv on 19 September 2020 in the Ukrainian Second League, but in October 2020 signed contract with the Ukrainian Premier League FC Rukh Lviv.

He made his debut for FC Rukh Lviv in the Ukrainian Premier League as the start-squad player in the losing away match against SC Dnipro-1 on 21 August 2021.[2]
