Sayyid Wali Rahmani (5 June 1943 – 3 April 2021) was an Indian Sunni Islamic Scholar, academician and founder of Rahmani30. He served as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council from 1974 to 1996.[1]
Rahmani was the General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Rahmani, Munger.
Biography[]
Rahmani's grandfather Muhammad Ali Mungeri was among the founding figures of Nadwatul Ulama. [2] Rahmani's father Sayyid Minatullah Rahmani was also an Islamic scholar. [2]
Rahmani became "Sajjada Nashin" of Khanqah Rahmani, Munger in 1991 after the death of his father Sayyid Minatullah Rahmani.[citation needed]
Shah Imran Hasan has written Rahmani's biography entitled Hayat-e-Wali.[3][4]
