Wuhandong railway station (Chinese: 武汉东站),[1] or Wuhan East railway station, is an under construction transport hub located in Jiangxia District, Wuhan which currently serves as a transfer station between Line 2 and Line 11 of the Wuhan Metro.

History[]

Construction of the railway station started July 28, 2015 and was to be completed in 2018.[2] In 2018 the opening date was pushed back to 2019 before being pushed back to July 2020.[3][4] Currently, Wuhandong railway station is planned to open in 2021.[5]

Wuhandong Railway Station (Chinese: 武汉东站), is a transfer station on Line 2 and Line 11 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on October 1, 2018. It is located in Jiangxia District and it will serve Wuhandong Railway Station which is currently under construction.[6][7]
