Xeroplexa setubalensis is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Geomitridae.[2] This species is endemic to Portugal. The taxa was previously placed within the genus Candidula until a molecular phylogenetic study revealed its current status.[2] This taxon is the type species of the genus Xeroplexa.[3]

Distribution[]
X. setubalensis is endemic to the central coast of Portugal (western Iberian Peninsula). Only few populations are known from Serra da Arrábida and Serra do São Luís, placed in the right side of Sado river.[4]
