Yakymivka (Ukrainian: Якимівка) is an urban-type settlement in Zaporizhzhia Oblast (province) in east-central Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of Yakymivka Raion. Population: 11,274 (2021 est.)[1].
Yakymivka was first mentioned in historical documents in 1833 and named in honor of Yakym Kolosov, regional police ispravnic.
