Yeo Ning Hong

Yeo Ning Hong DUBC (Chinese: 杨林丰; pinyin: Yáng Línfēng) is a former Singaporean politician. A member of the country's governing People's Action Party (PAP), he served as a minister in the Cabinet and as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the 1980s and 1990s. His ministerial appointments included Minister for Defence and Minister for Communications and Information.

A chemist by training, Yeo is an alumnus of the University of Singapore (now the National University of Singapore). He later graduated with a PhD from the University of Cambridge.[1] He was also a Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge, from 1970-73.

Since leaving politics, Yeo has served as Executive Chairman of the Singapore Technologies Group, and Chairman of the Port of Singapore Authority. He has also published several books under the pen name "Adrian Yeo".[2]
