Yeongsan Shin clan (Korean영산 신씨; Hanja靈山 辛氏) is one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan is in Changnyeong County, South Gyeongsang Province. According to the research held in 2015, the number of Yeongsan Shin clan's member was 187426. Their founder was  [ja] who entered Goryeo as one of the Eight Scholars (hanja: 八學士) in Northern Song Dynasty. He was from Longxi Commandery. He passed Imperial examination in 1138 and was appointed as Jinzi Guanglu Daifu (hanja: 金紫光祿大夫) and munha sirang pyeongjangsa (Korean문하시랑평장사; Hanja門下侍郞平章事). He was settled in Yeongchwi Mountain (hanja: 靈鷲山) located in Changnyeong County. Then, he founded Yeongsan Shin clan. He got Jeongui (hanja: 貞懿)’s name after his demise.[1][2]
