Yukti Kapoor

Yukti Kapoor (born 18 May 1992) is an Indian television actress. She made her acting debut in 2010 with the television show Nanhi Si kali meri Laadli and then appeared in Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga.

She had her breakthrough with the role of Ragini and Agni in Agnifera, she received praises for her role of Ragini.[1] She then appeared in lead role of Lakshmi in Namah Lakshmi Narayan and S.I. Karishma Singh in Maddam Sir - Kuch Baat Hai Kyunki Jazbaat Hai on Sony SAB.[2]

She made her film debut with a Bhojpuri film Ka Ukhaad Leba (2013) and Bollywood debut with Uvaa (2015).

Early life[]

Yukti was born on 18 May 1992 in Jaipur. Her parents are Arun Kapoor and Darshana Kapoor. She has two brothers Gaurav Kapoor and Raunak Kapoor. She completed her graduation from K.J. Somaiya Junior College Of Science & Commerce, Mumbai.

Career[]

Early Career and film debut (2010-2016)[]

Yukti started her career at the age of 18 with the show Nanhi Si kali, Meri Laadli. She had her first major role in Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga in 2013, where she played Tanu Chauhan. She then appeared as Urmila in Siya Ke Ram and as Sudha Shekhawat/Sudha Singh in Balika Vadhu, both as prallel lead. The role of Urmila brought jer praises from the audience. In addition to television she appeared as the lead in the 2013 Bhojpuri film Ka Ukhaad Leba and also as Roshni in the Bollywood movie Uvaa.

Breakthrough and success (2017-Present)[]

Yukti had her breakthrough with the lead role of Ragini Singh in Agniphera, where she also played the role of Agni Singh. She received major praises for her role of Ragini. Her next lead came with Namah Lakshmi Narayan, where she played Goddess Lakshmi, and also appeared as Shweta in Laal Ishq. She is currently seen as S.I. Karishma Singh in Maddam Sir - Kuch Baat Hai Kyunki Jazbaat Hai, where she has received widespread praises from the audience. It has given her immense popularity. She has also appeared in various music videos.
