Žernovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Prachatice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 5.29 square kilometres (2.04 sq mi), and had a population of 238 (as at 28 August 2006).

Žernovice lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Prachatice, 32 km (20 mi) west of České Budějovice, and 122 km (76 mi) south of Prague.
