1940 Argyll by-election

UK Parliamentary by-election
The Argyll by-election of 1940 was held on 10 April 1940. The by-election was held due to the death of the incumbent Conservative MP, Frederick Macquisten. It was won by the Conservative candidate Duncan McCallum.[1]
