The 1958 Sacramento State Hornets football team represented Sacramento State College[note 1] during the 1958 NCAA College Division football season.

Sacramento State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC).[note 2] The Hornets were led by second-year head coach Johnny Baker. They played home games at Charles C. Hughes Stadium in Sacramento, California. The team finished the season with a record of three wins and six losses (3–6, 1–4 FWC). For the season the team was outscored by its opponents 146–164.
