• May 25 – Coventry Cathedral in England, designed by Basil Spence, is consecrated.
• May 28 – TWA Flight Center at JFK Airport, New York, designed by Eero Saarinen.^[2]
• July 1 – The Minolta Tower in Niagara Falls.
