Copa Mustang 2008-II[]

At the beginning of the 2008-II Copa Mustang Atlético Nacional was not as successful as it was thought they were going to be; starting by the fact of adding new player to the squad at the top of the league. Atlético Nacional would have much trouble looking for a place in the top 8 during the first half of the 2008-II tournament. In the other half Atlético Nacional was slightly getting back to shape by making the top 8 in five occasions.Atlético Nacional won its last three games needly taking them top 3rd place in the last game of the tournament and making them qualify to the Quadrangular Semifinals. Atlético Nacional on its closing game against La Equidad in the quadrangular phase struggled in the game by losing 4 - 1; only about 10,000 fans showed up to the game to see them lose on their 2008 season final game.
