The 5th Asian Beach Games (Vietnamese: Đại hội Thể thao Bãi biển châu Á lần thứ năm) was held in Da Nang, Vietnam.[2][3] It was the second time for Vietnam to host an Asia level multi-sports event, after Ha Noi held Asian Indoor Games (2009). However, this was the first time that an event not be held in Ha Noi.
