The 2021–22 season is Newport County's 33rd season since being reformed and their ninth consecutive season in the fourth tier of English football. Alongside League Two, they will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the EFL Trophy and the Welsh League Cup. The season covers the period from 1 June 2021 to 31 May 2022.

Pre-season friendlies[]

The Exiles confirmed they would have friendly matches against Undy,[1] Blackpool,[1] Chippenham Town,[1] Cinderford Town[1] and Cardiff City[1] as part of their pre-season preparations.
