The 2021–22 season is Oldham Athletic's 127th year in their history and fourth consecutive season in League Two. Along with the league, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.

Pre-season friendlies[]

Oldham Athletic announced pre-season friendlies against Ashton United,[1] Stalybridge Celtic,[1] Wigan Athletic,[1] Burnley,[2] Crewe Alexandra[1] and Huddersfield Town[3] as part of their preparations for the new campaign.
