Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka defeated Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková in the final, 6–2, 6–3, to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2021 Australian Open. This was Mertens and Sabalenka's second Grand Slam doubles title as a team after they first won the 2019 US Open .[1] By virtue of winning the title, Sabalenka claimed the world No. 1 doubles ranking .[2]
Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic were the defending champions,[3] but the pair withdrew from the women's doubles tournament.
