The National Development League 2022 is the third tier/division of British speedway for the 2022 season.[1] The Play Offs and Knockout Cup returned after being cancelled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

Team changes[]

Eight teams would compete for the season. Armadale, Belle Vue, Berwick, Kent, Leicester and champions Mildenhall all returned.[2][3] Kent would switch venues from Central Park Stadium to the Sittingbourne Iwade Speedway Stadium on Raspberry Lane.[4] Oxford Cheetahs (Oxford Chargers) and Plymouth Gladiators (Plymouth Centurions) would also field junior clubs, bringing the total to eight.[5]
