Aksbandh (previously Paranormal Karachi Nights[2]) is a 2016 Pakistan's first supernatural found footage horror film, produced written and directed by Emran Hussain and co- written by Ayaz Samoo.[3] Aksbandh is produced under the production banner of Cinematic Media, Big Idea Entertainment. The film features an assembled cast that includes Ayaz Samoo, Saud Imtiaz, Danial Afzal,[4] Bilal Yousufzai, Shehzeen Rahat, Mahrukh Rizvi and Arshad Ali.

The film will be distributed by Hum Films on May 20, 2016 in cinemas nationwide.

Plot[]

The plot of movie resolves around six friends who set out on a fun adventure trip to Drigh Lake in Larkana,[5] to make a small budget horror film. However, when the trip takes a nasty turn, the six friends find themselves mixed up in paranormal activities.[6]

Production[]

The entire film's shooting was done in Pakistan, the film was also produced in Pakistan as well; except its sound mixing and recording which was done in India.[7]

Marketing and release[]

The teaser trailer of film was revealed on November 15, 2015.[8] Theatrical trailer and final poster of film was released on April 23, 2016. The film was released across Pakistani cinemas on May 20, 2016.[9]
