The Al Mawarid International School, also known as Al Mawarid Al Rae'dah International School or Al Mawarid Leading International School (AMIS), is a rudimentary and peripheral school for the foreign students situated in the heart of the city, Jeddah, found in 2002.[1]

Affiliation[]

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.[2] under the Affiliation Number 5730012.

Admission[]

Admission remains open throughout the year but normally held at the end of February until the end of May. Every applicants (Foreign & Indians) are obliged. An admission test/interview is given to the candidate by any of teaching staff as per the grade of the applicant. There are certain age requirements for the admission to the each classes.

Medium of instruction[]

Provision of Arabic, Malayalam, Urdu and English languages are available in separate sections from class 5th to 10th.

Location and wings[]

There are three integral wings of the school, which is situated in the neighborhood of Al Mushrifah, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

  • Boys Wing (IV - XII)
  • Girls Wing (VI - XII)
  • Kindergarten Wing {LKG - III (IV-V for girls only)}

Bus accident[]

In 2005, nine school students of Al-Mawarid International School escaped unhurt, when their school bus collided with another vehicle.[3]
