American Airlines fleet
American Airlines operates 892 mainline aircraft, the largest commercial airline fleet in the world. It primarily operates a mix of Airbus and Boeing narrow-body and Boeing wide-body aircraft. American is currently in the process of the largest fleet renewal in its history, with almost 200 aircraft remaining on order from Airbus and Boeing. American is the largest operator of the Airbus A320 family in the world. It operates the largest fleet of A319 and A321 aircraft in the world.[1][n 1][2]
