András Gosztonyi (born 7 November 1990 in Kaposvár) is a Hungarian football player who plays for Kisvárda in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I.

Career[]

He spent a week at Newcastle United F.C. on trial. Joe Kinnear claimed he would have a massive future at Newcastle should his trial work out. The trial never worked out and Gosztonyi returned to his club. On 1 February 2010, the midfielder has been signed by AS Bari until the conclusion of the 2009–2010 Serie A campaign. He transferred to the Italian club from MTK Budapest. The spring season twice took the team back on track in Bari (against Siena in the 3–2 away loss of Meeting 77th minute and Juventus suffered a 3–0 defeat, and the occasion of the 71st minute of the match).

International career[]

His original position is Striker, but he plays Midfielder at the U-19 National team of Hungary. The Hungarian offensive midfielder is member of the Hungary under-21 national team.
