Andrea Carboni (born 4 February 2001) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Serie A club Cagliari.

Club career[]

Carboni joined the youth academy of Cagliari at the age of 10.[1] Carboni made his professional debut with Cagliari in a 1–0 Serie A win over S.P.A.L. on 23 June 2020.[2]

International career[]

Carboni represented the Italy U19s in October 2019.[3]

On 3 September 2021 he made his debut with the Italy U21 squad, playing as a starter in the qualifying match won 3–0 against Luxembourg.[4]

Personal life[]

On 5 January 2021, Carboni tested positive for COVID-19.[5]
