Arikoyama Castle (有子山城, Arikoyama-jō) is a castle structure in Toyooka, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.[1]

It was the original base of power for the Yamana clan. moved their home castle from in 1576 after his was defeated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.[1][2][3]

Current[]

The castle is now only ruins, with some stone walls and moats.[1][4] In 2017, the castle was listed as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles.[5]
