Shingū Castle (新宮城, Shingū -jō) is a castle structure in Shingū, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.[1][2][3]

Current[]

After the Meiji revolution, all the remaining structures of the castle were removed or destroyed so there are little remains of the castle on the present day site, some stone walls.[3] In 2017, the castle was listed as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles.[4]
