Au-Yeong Pak Kuan (simplified Chinese: 欧阳伯钧; traditional Chinese: 歐陽伯鈞,[2] born 24 August 1960) is a former Singaporean football midfielder who captained Singapore in the 1984 Asian Cup.

Career[]

1979–1991: football career[]

Au Yeong was recruited into the national team by in 1979 and played for Singapore FA in the Malaysia Cup tournaments.[3] He also served as the team captain from 1981 to 1985.

He was nicknamed "The Utility Man" as he was able to play in any position.[3]

In 1985, he was nominated by the Football Association of Singapore for the Singapore National Olympic Council's meritorious award.[4]

Au Yeong retired from football in 1991.[5]

Post football career[]

After retiring from football, Au Yeong has worked as the regional general manager of Honeywell Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.[5][6]

Personal life[]

Au Yeong studied in Raffles Institution and Singapore Polytechnic.[3]

Au Yeong is married to Kerin and have two sons and a daughter.[5]
