Back to the Outback is an upcoming American-Australian computer-animated musical adventure comedy film written by Harry Cripps with Greg Lessans and directed by Clare Knight and Harry Cripps.[1] The voice cast includes Isla Fisher, Tim Minchin, Eric Bana, Guy Pearce, Miranda Tapsell, Angus Imrie, Rachel House, Keith Urban, Celeste Barber, Wayne Knight, and Jacki Weaver.[2] Produced by Reel FX Animation Studios, Weed Road Pictures and Netflix Animation. Akiva Goldsman served as executive producer, the film is scheduled for a late 2021 release on Netflix.
