Badaling railway station is a station of Jingbao Railway in Beijing. It is a gateway to one of the most popular places to visit the Great Wall of China at Badaling, which is sometimes called the "Great Wall at Badaling".
Put into use in late 2019, the Badaling Great Wall station is the deepest and largest underground high-speed railway station in the world. The 50,000-square-meter station was constructed beneath the Badaling Great Wall, about 102 meters below the surface. The underground station has three floors, separate levels for arriving and departing passengers, and two escalators with vertical heights of 62 meters, the second-highest in the country.[citation needed]
