Banished from the Heroes' Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside (真の仲間じゃないと勇者のパーティーを追い出されたので、辺境でスローライフすることにしました, Shin no Nakama janai to Yūsha no Party o Oidasareta node, Henkyō de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita) is a Japanese light novel series written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. It began serialization online in October 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Kadokawa Shoten, who have published nine volumes since June 2018 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Masahiro Ikeno has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Ace since May 2018. It has been collected in six tankōbon volumes. Both the light novel and manga are licensed in North America by Yen Press.[2][3] An anime television series adaptation by Wolfsbane and Studio Flad will premiere in October 2021.
