Barbara Visser (born 16 August 1977) is a Croatian–born Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). She is the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Cabinet Rutte III since 31 August 2021.[1]

Visser a civil servant by occupation, was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives after the election of 2012 serving from 20 September 2012 until 26 October 2017 when she was appointed as State Secretary for Defence in the Cabinet Rutte III taking office on 26 October 2017.

Visser was born in Šibenik in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (present-day Croatia) into a mixed Dutch-Croatian family. From 2006 to 2010, she was a municipal councillor of, and also from 2010 to 2012, an alderman of Zaanstad.
