Berzelia, Georgia

Berzelia is an unincorporated community in Columbia County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1] It is located on U.S. Route 78 17 miles west-southwest of Downtown Augusta and 3+12 miles, (~3.7 kilometers) east of Harlem

History[]

A post office called Berzelia was established in 1835, and remained in operation until 1933.[2] In 1900, the community had 84 inhabitants.[3]
