Bidhuna is a big town and a Nagar Panchayat in Auraiya district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Bidhuna has some temples. Durga Devi Mandir is one of the oldest temple in the town. Bidhuna also have known as priest people live in bidhuna and around the town. Kotwali situated near State Bank of India, feeder road. Feeder road as like as Cannaught place of Bidhuna. famous market of Bidhuna Loha Mandi, Sabji Mandi, Gala Mandi, Takiya also most famous place. It is also a educational hub for surrounding villages. It has several degree colleges and good quality schools which attract numerous students.

As of 2018 India census,[2] Bidhuna had a population of 2,01,250 in the year of May 2019. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bidhuna has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 78% and female literacy of 68%. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Bidhuna encompasses in Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha constituencies. The current MLA in Vidhan Sabha for Bidhuna is Vinay Shakya.

Transport[]

UPSRTC has direct bus services from Bidhuna to Etawah, Bidhuna to Agra, Bidhuna to Delhi, Bidhuna to Kanpur. Town is well connected with the major cities in the states like Kanpur (frequent via Bela), Delhi (frequency is less), Agra, Lucknow.

It has frequent services of private buses between Bidhuna and Etawah via Bharthana; between Bidhuna and Chhibaramau via Saurikh; and less frequent service of buses between Bidhuna and its district Auraiya.

  • Nearest Railway stations is Achhalda towards south at a distance 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) where trains are available towards east to Kanpur, Allahabad, Patna etc. and towards west to Etawah, Agra, Delhi etc.
