Brinzio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Milan and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 862 and an area of 6.4 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).[3]
Brinzio borders the following municipalities: Bedero Valcuvia, Castello Cabiaglio, Induno Olona, Rancio Valcuvia, Valganna, Varese.
