From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cabinet Kretschmann II was the government of the German state of Baden-Württemberg from 12 May 2016, following the 2016 Baden-Württemberg state elections, to 11 May 2021. Succeeding the Cabinet Kretschmann I, the Cabinet is headed by Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann again and was formed by a coalition of the Green Party and the Christian Democrats. It was the first state-level government of the two parties to be headed by a member of the Green Party in German history.

Five cabinet members were from the CDU and seven cabinet positions as well as the office of State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg were held by members of the Green Party. Kretschmann was elected Minister President on 12 May 2016. The officials were sworn into office on the same day.

Cabinet members held the office of Ministers of their respective portfolio, except where this is specified otherwise.
