Callander Football Club was a short-lived 19th-century football club and one of the original 16 teams to participate in the inaugural season of the Scottish Cup. They are also known as the first opponents to play Rangers with whom they drew 0–0 at Glasgow Green in May 1872. Callander suffered defeat in the first round of the 1873–74 Scottish Cup, losing 2–0 to Alexandra Athletic. The club colours were blue caps, white jerseys, and blue knickerbockers.[1] Callander subsequently dissolved in 1874.
