Pollokshields Athletic F.C.

Pollokshields Athletic F.C. was a Scottish football team, based in the Pollokshields district of Glasgow (at the time a separate burgh).[1][2] They first entered the Scottish Cup in the 1877–78 and reached the semi-finals in 1879–80 and 1882–83, with a last participation in 1888–89. They were founder members of the Glasgow Football Association in 1883[3] and played in the first two editions of the Glasgow Cup in 1887 and 1888.[4]
