Celebrity Undercover Boss, also known as Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition[1] is an American reality television series and spin-off of the television series Undercover Boss.[2] The series premiered on May 11, 2018.[3]
Unlike its parent series (and contrary to its name), in Celebrity Undercover Boss the celebrities featured do not mingle with their own employees, but rather don a disguise in order to find unsuspecting talented people in their line of work.[4] The first promotional video was also released on April 26, 2018.[5]
Production[]
During the eighth season of Undercover Boss in CBS aired two celebrity episodes of the series, which also doubled as a backdoor pilot for the celebrity edition.[6] Similar to the parent series, Celebrity Undercover Boss is produced by Studio Lambert in association with All3Media America, with Stephen Lambert, Sean Foley and Greg Goldman serving as executive producers for the series.[7][8]
