The Chennai Egmore–Kanniyakumari Superfast Express or Kanyakumari Express is a Superfast daily overnight train operated by Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways that runs between Chennai Egmore and Kanniyakumari in India. It is currently being operated with 12633/12634 train numbers on a daily basis.[3][4][5]

This train runs between Kanyakumari and Chennai Egmore. It covers the distance of ChennaiTrichy in a very short time. This was classified as a Superfast train as the average speed of the train is greater than 55 km/h[6] The 12633/Chennai Egmore–Kanniyakumari SF Express has an average speed of 57 km/hr and covers 739 km in 13h. The 12634/Kanniyakumari–Chennai Egmore SF Express has an average speed of 55 km/hr and covers 739 km in 13h 25m.This train is now running as Chennai EgmoreKanniyakumari COVID-19 Superfast Special with numbers as 02633/02634.

This train runs through the chord line Chengalpattu, Viluppuram, Vridhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, , Valliyur, Nagercoil Junction and Kanyakumari. In return, it stops at Mambalam also.

As per the numbering convention of Indian Railways, this train is allotted number 12634 for the journey between Kanyakumari and Chennai and 12633 for journey between Chennai and Kanyakumari.[6]
