Cholenice is a village and municipality in Jičín District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) south of Jičín and 66 kilometres (41 mi) east of Prague.

The municipality covers an area of 4.54 square kilometres (1.75 sq mi) and as of 2006 it had a population of 210. First written notice about the village is from year 1099.
