Deepto TV (Bengali: দীপ্ত টিভি; lit. 'light/shine TV')[4] is a satellite and cable television channel in Bangladesh, owned by Kazi Farms Group and operated by Kazi Media Limited. It was officially launched on November 18, 2015.[5] Deepto TV focuses on entertainment with emphasis on daily drama series.[6]
Popularity[]
Deepto TV began broadcasting by airing the first and second episodes of Muhteşem Yüzyıl, in which the channel gained popularity from. Muhteşem Yüzyıl had the second highest TRP in Bangladesh by the first week of January 2016 and the channel itself was the highest among other channels in Bangladesh in terms of television ratings.[7]
