Diamond Harbour Government Medical College and Hospital is a full-fledged tertiary referral Government Medical college. It was established in the year 2018. The college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Nursing and para-medical courses are also offered. The college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the National Medical Commission.[1] The hospital associated with the college is one of the largest hospitals in the Diamond Harbour. The selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Yearly undergraduate student intake is 100 from the year 2019.The college has started its MBBS course from 1st August 2019.[2]
