Donal Gibson (born February 13, 1958) is an American former actor, and younger brother of award-winning actor and director Mel Gibson.[1][2]
Gibson was born in Peekskill, New York. He has done voice acting in television shows such as ReBoot (as Ray Tracer the Surfer) and Justice League Unlimited (as Captain Boomerang). His most notable voice acting role was perhaps as Captain John Smith in Disney's Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, a role which was played by his brother Mel in the first film, Pocahontas.
Aside of voice acting, Donal has also appeared for minor roles in films starring his brother Mel, such as Braveheart, Conspiracy Theory, and Maverick, as well as major motion pictures not starring his brother such as Paparazzi, Casualties of War and One Eight Seven.
Donal also holds a United States patent for a type of compact disc packaging and is an industrial painter.
